"That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowedging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus." PHILEMON 1:6

If we do not acknowledge by knowing and saying the good things that are ours or in us in Christ Jesus, then we can not communicate or tell others about our faith effectively!

The Word of God is simple.
......There's nothing hard about it.
The biggest problem is that people don't really hear it!
But when we don't know God very well,
Satan can discredit Him and say all kinds
of false things about Him because we don't
know anything better.
It's not hard for those who really know God

to believe Him and His Word.

And when they believe God's Word,

it's not hard to receive from Him.
When a person knows someone is trustworthy,
it's not hard to believe them.

Faith is a direct result of knowing God better!
One of the reasons the Christian life has been so hard for a lot of people,

................and that's including people who have heard teaching about faith and confession,

....................is because they haven't really developed a personal relationship with God!
Really, everything we receive from God

comes out of knowing Him!
Christians would find it easier to have faith in God to
provide their needs by simply getting to know Him better.

...................Since everything we receive from God
.............. comes through faith in Him, knowing Him
.....................intimately becomes very important.
There has been teaching of faith and confessing
.................God's Word to bring faith.

We need to speak what God's Word says and
believe Him; but there is also
...............an important key that has been missed.

Having faith in someone means we know them so well;
to the point where we can either trust them or not.

Did you know that if a person really knew God
and understood Him as the wonderful Father
.........................that He is,
there would be no trouble believing Him and His Word?

Remaining in Him

"Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin;
for his seed remains in Him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God."
...........................................1 John 3:9

This verse was said to be about habitual sin.
We have been told that we can't habitually sin.
We may sin sometimes but not habitually, and if
we do than we aren't born again.
.....But that doesn't hold true because what can be
called sin is really very broad.
...................A little bit of sin is still sin.
So Are We in Him

"Herein is our love made perfect,
that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this world."
...........................1 John 4:17

..............As he is, so are we in this world!
It isn't 'so are we going to be,' but so are we now.

Obviously, this isn't speaking of our bodies or our minds,
but our spirits.
Our spirits are as pure, holy, righteous and clean as they
will ever be.
And this verse is saying our spirits are identical to the
Lord Jesus Christ.
.................Our spirits are His workmanship.
If we sin, our spirits are never contaminated because it's not
our spirits that sin.
Righteous in Him

The Bible says that God made Jesus, "who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him".
.......................2 Corinthians 5:21

............In God's eyes, those who trust in Jesus are made righteous and are eligible for every blessing that belongs to the righteous!
